* i'm not posting anymore because i feel really selfish doing it, i dont know, it just feels retarded. i guess i'll still comment, etc because i want to stay close to people. i dont think anything of people though that post constantly on xanga, etc. im glad that they do because i dont get much of a chance to talk to you all. k, just clearing that up. i may make a picture lj soon but thats because photobucket likes having seizures every ten minutes.

i just had to delete last night's entry because it just wasn't true! heh.

k, so yesterday was homecoming and i have to admit, i was a little sad at first. i've always been a little anti-school dances and i even told some people that going to homecoming would be hella overrated and that doing something else would be better. then hiya and i were talking and we decided that we didn't want to be debate nerds for once and do something that was not socially looked down upon.  and we almost went to homecoming with sunny and arindam.  lmfao.  discounts are hella cute, stfu.  hiya and i totally would have gone as a couple [damn, we are cheap] but i think our school has a policy against that? anyhow..plans fell through big time anyways  and i'm sort of glad they did.  =)

because my first instincts were right, haha. it was ten times better to just do things with friends rather than go to homecoming. well, i think so. i just went to hiya's house and we had our own hc! i'm going to put up an e-album link up here real soon but here are some pictures i feel the need to explain:

k so, im addicted to tortillas. but i never eat them because no company makes them correclty but hiya had the HEB ones [which taste like real tortillas] so i like went crazy and ate them. lolocaust!

so, jennifer and i do this thing were we run out into her/my front yard [its usually late because this is retarded but fun]  and take fast action pictures with my shitty nikon. heh so i made hiya do it. and yes, i am wearing the towel dress.

k so, this is why most of hiya's weekend was bad..she fell during the tournament =(( this picture looks gross at first but the quality and lighting are hella good. i knew if i put it in the album someone would be like "WTF RANDOM BLOODY KNEE" yeah hah but her weekend was rough as well as a couple of other people, and i hope i made it better! :D because they do so much for me already. in all reality, i do have some really great friends.

humph. kingwood was a tad depressing though. i looked like crap the entire weekend, too. i think im coming down with something. i feel gross. also, interp this year just isn't satisfying me. i only made it to semi's in my events, granted i threw the rounds, but i still feel really unaccomplished. this year better not be a bust because right now taking Jewish studies at rice  this summer > debate camp ..sounds perfect to me. i regret going to camp sometimes anyways.

jeez, i've grown so much. too bad i cut my hair. so freaking retarded. mk. so, i was going through a big box of pictures from chile, etc.and we've led a pretty good life, if you think about it. i love the life we made before i came here. and i'm going to make sure the one i make in america is ten times better. moving on,  today was pretty ace. nothing to complain about, really. and you have to admit - that swing set is the shit.  heh xanga is so pointless - magdalena

so, a majority of my best/closest friends are still depressed. i suppose, just about everyone is. including myself at times. but things are looking up and as long as the temperature is going down. so, i was screwing around and putting on terrible terrible milani make-up. ok, the make-up is awesome just not..on..me. partly, because its so bright i look like clown. but eh, back to my point - i then realized my favorite winter coat matched my eyeshadow and i rescued it from my closet and put it on. [well, it did match my coat until i put the flash on]  it has bear ears, lmfao. so in honor of my good friends i hope this makes you laugh:

i adore winter. probably, one of the greatest times of the year. i sort of mesh winter and fall together though, haha. i know thats really inaccurate and sort of idiotic but i just don't feel like recognizing fall as a season. lol. therefore from this point on when i mention winter i mean both. just a heads up. it really is the best season though. i used to hate the cold but when i look back it was the time of the year where all of the good things happened. so, i'm looking forward to that feeling again. events in winter:

1. my birthday [heh]
2.  xmas even though we dont celebrate
3.  mmm, new years
4. winter solstice party lmfao
5.  halloween
6. thanksgiving
7. road tripss
8. winter shows at javajazz
9. friggin runs in the park in winter :] eeeee

and much more. okay, so most of those technically aren't in winter. but it doesn't matter because within those things and around those things are so many good memories. and mittens, faux fur coats, and eskimo kisses pwn, too.
